Kimberly O. Jenkins
Kimberly O. Jenkins is the Communications Director for the BYU College of Computational, Mathematical, and Physical Sciences, a position she’s held since 2017. In this role, she manages communication strategies for the college, including marketing, public relations, and external relations. In February 2024, she successfully led the 50th Anniversary campaign for the college, which included events, digital campaigns, and videos featuring faculty and university leaders.
Before her current position, Jenkins served in the BYU Center for Animation & Computer Science, where she managed external relations, advised undergraduate students, planned events, and wrote and edited weekly newsletters and articles. She played a key role in increasing student retention, particularly for women in the department.
Jenkins earned her bachelor’s degree in public relations from BYU. She worked as an intern at Edelman Public Relations, where she was involved in a successful grassroots campaign. Additionally, she gained experience as an intern for Adobe’s Marketing Summit and the Bon Jovi World Tour, and as an account executive for Bradley Public Relations, where she led research and strategy campaigns for various clients.
Throughout her career, Jenkins has demonstrated her expertise in creative development, digital marketing, marketing strategy, and multimedia storytelling. She also serves on several university committees, including the Academic Support Unit Review Committee and the College Communications Council.
