Terry R. Seamons

Terry R. Seamons is a former president of the BYU Alumni Association and an esteemed BYU graduate himself. After receiving his bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in psychology, he began applying his education to the business management field.

Focusing on managerial performance, organization, and efficiency, Brother Seamons has worked as the senior vice president of human resources and administration at Entergy; as the vice president and managing director of the consulting firm RHR International; and as a professor in BYU’s psychology department. His work has helped to refocus businesses, employees, and students on their performance.

His four BYU commencement speeches give direction and guidance to newly graduated students. Brother Seamons’s call for continued service encourages his audience to pattern their lives after the example of Christ.
