David L. Beck served as the Young Men General President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 2009 to 2015. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a master’s degree in engineering administration, both from the University of Utah.
Beck has held numerous callings in the Church, including temple sealer, stake president, bishop, high councilor, elders quorum president, and full-time missionary in Brazil. Beck served as president of the Brazil, Rio de Janeiro North Mission from 1996 to 1999. Later, he presided over the Brazil Missionary Training Center from 2021 to 2023.
He married Robyn Ericksen on September 9, 1976, in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they have four children.
