Associate professor Jane H. Lassetter is a registered nurse who worked at Primary Children’s Hospital for a decade before joining the faculty at Brigham Young University College of Nursing, where she has taught since 2002.
Dr. Lassetter received her baccalaureate and master’s degrees from the BYU College of Nursing and her PhD from Oregon Health and Science University. She serves as the governor-at-large on the board of the Western Institute of Nursing as well as on BYU’s Faculty General Education Council and as an Alcuin Fellow. Her research interests include obesity prevention in Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander families and in children of all ethnicities.
Dr. Lassetter treasures her two sons, one daughter, and three delightful granddaughters. She has served in a variety of Church callings and presently teaches Gospel Doctrine.
