Janet B. Bradford is a senior librarian at Brigham Young University’s Harold B. Lee Library. Bradford graduated from Brigham Young University in 1978 with a degree in music theory before turning her attention to library studies. She then earned her master’s degree in library studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Bradford’s love of music lead to her subject specialty of music performance. She has advocated for the works of Latter-day Saint composers in the library system for decades.
In her BYU devotional address, Bradford stressed the importance of learning to carry on amidst the challenges we face every day. Her words have given many the strength to carry on amidst their adversities.
