Phoebe Romney Cook spoke as a representative of her graduating class at BYU commencement on August 14, 2014.

Cook studied interdisciplinary humanities, environmental studies, and editing at BYU. During her time at BYU, she was an editor on the nonfiction staff for the Inscape student literary journal. She is a homemaker.
